Karen Rogers Melton, CPA

Karen is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed to practice in New Mexico. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mexico Society of CPAs. She joined Ernst & Young, Ritter & Company, LLC's predecessor firm, in 1988 after graduating from New Mexico State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. Prior to joining our firm, she worked at Harvard Petroleum Corporation.

Karen's responsibilities include tax compliance and review activities for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships and corporations. She has assisted in the preparation of two of the firm's larger consolidated corporate oil and gas tax returns. Additionally, she has prepared multiple large estate tax returns.
